Care Home & Day Centres

“Mr Magic Hat the magician came to visit us today and the residents loved every minute of it and so did we. Parsons Grange Care Home

Steve, AKA Mr Magic Hat, is an experienced magician and entertainer. Steve previously specialised in doing magic shows for children and has adapted this for adults at Care Homes and Day Centres. This includes fun, visual tricks and tricks with stories and classic fairy tales. This also appeals to the child at heart in each adult.

The shows are for 45 minutes. After each show Steve likes to wander around and say goodbye to each person, so in practice he fills about one hour’s activity.

He also does shows at special events including on a Saturday. For instance walk around magic, or a show, for the residents and their families.

Steve has Public Liability Insurance and is DBS checked for working with vulnerable adults – a Care Home or Day Centre may request a DBS using Steve’s Enhanced DBS subscription, details available on request.

You can find answers to FAQs below, including when and where Steve does his magic shows.
