Weddings

I heard comments about how much people enjoyed the tricks when Mr Magic Hat went round the tables.”

Magic can help to make a wedding day even more special for everyone. The magic can help people to mix together and with filling lull times for the guests, such as when the photos time or before the evening activities. Or there can be a magic show especially of the children (age 3+), for instance at a drinks time or in the speeches when they can feel at a loose end!

Steve, AKA Mr Magic Hat, is an experienced children’s and adult magician. He does entertaining walk around magic or upfront shows, with a variety of magic tricks suitable for all ages. Or he can do both walk around magic and an upfront show at one event!

For walk around magic Steve mingles with the guests, who can be seated at tables or standing. He brings the wonder of close-up magic to a few people at a time, to give everyone a magical time.
At a wedding reception the best times for walk around magic are at initial drinks, and/or at the photos, or after the wedding meal (and speeches) before the evening activities. At the meal (between the courses) is also a possibility.

Steve is a member of the Home Counties Magical Society (a local version of the Magic Circle) and in 2023 won their Close-up Magic Competition.

For upfront shows Steve does fun, visual and interactive magic, for all the guests or for just the children. At a wedding the show is usually for 30 minutes, and can be inside or outside.

Steve is DBS checked and has Public Liability Insurance.
