Steve, AKA Mr Magic Hat, is an experienced magician and entertainer. He does a fun filled 30 minute magic show, for children age 3+. There are visual, colourful magic tricks, with stories and plenty of interaction. Tricky Micky the puppet joins the show for younger ones. Older children age 8+ are treated as mini-adults. The show is geared to their age, plus they are taught how to do a trick. Or the show can be for tailored for all ages
As Steve has different types of shows for Junior, Infant and Nursery aged children, it is best to have separate shows indoors for Juniors, Infants and Nurseries (plus reception if wanted). There can be up to 120 children at each show, plus staff. Shows can follow one another with a 20–30 minute break between them. A package price will be given for more than one show. There will be fun and laughter which promotes children’s well-being.
Steve has Public Liability Insurance and is DBS checked – a school may request a DBS using Steve’s Enhanced DBS subscription, details available on request.
Steve can also do shows at Fairs and Fetes.

Where can the show be?
In the Sussex area.
What days and times can a show be?
Anytime in the week.
Do I need to provide anything?
No. Steve brings everything he needs with him including a table and, if needed, a portable PA (that does not need to be plugged into an electric socket).
What setup time is needed?
Steve will arrive 20 minutes beforehand to set up.
Do adults need to be present ?
Some adults need to stay with the children (1 adult per 10 children), to supervise the children.
Are different shows possible?
Yes. Steve can do a number of different shows. So he can return a nursery or .school
What is the Public Liability Insurance cover?
£10 million cover with Equity / Hiscox Insurance Company Ltd. Details are available on request.
What are the terms and conditions?
These are kept to a minimum and are included on the booking Email from Steve.
Is a deposit required?
No.
How do I pay?
By bank transfer prior to the date of the show.
Can a booking be cancelled?
Yes, up to two weeks prior to the show date. After that 50% of the fee will be due.
